After the court in Rasheed Damietta rejected on Thursday, 04/23/2015 the appeal of “Abdel Halim Mohamed Mohamed Abu Amar” third year student at the Faculty of Commerce of Al-Azhar University in Cairo, by the Public Prosecution and the decision to keep him in custody for 15 days pending investigations, after being accused of joining a banned group.
It is worth mentioning that the current system security forces have arrested the student on Saturday 18/4/2015 arbitrarily against the law from his home in Beheira, which is a flagrant violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which states that may not arrest a person without a decision of the prosecutor or court order to that effect.
