The misdemeanor court in Suez confirmed the sentence against Anas Salam, final year student in the faculty of industrial education and the responsible for foreign relations in Egypt’s student Union. He was sentenced to 3 years and 500 pounds fine.
The student was arrested illegally and on the 17/10/2014 in a clear violation to Law and to the Universal declaration for human rights. Also, we have received news that the student demands his legal right to take the first term exams according to the prison law number 396 for 1956 that the prison management has tp encourage prisoners to learn, continue their study and to allow them to take the exams.
