- Despite the criminalization of enforced disappearances by all human rights organizations and human rights laws and as a violation against humanity itself, the current Egyptian authorities continue to hide “Omar Abbas,”  second year student at the Faculty of Education -English department  at the University of Al-Azhar, and they continue to deny his existence in any police centers until this moment.
Recalling that the student was arrested arbitrarily on May 24, 2015 by the security forces from his home in Helwan, and stated to us that he is in custody, in “Helwan” Police Department amid denial the police Section of their existence, and is therefore a violation of the rights of prisoners in presenting them to the public prosecutor in a maximum period of 24 hours the time of his arrest.
