Continuation of the policy of enforced disappearance that is pursued by the security forces against the Egyptian universities and institutes students, it was reported to us the security forces continue to hide for the second day in a row the place of detention of “Hamdeen Imam Muhammad Rizieq” student at the Faculty of Engineering – Sallab University in Mansoura.

Recalling  that the student has been arrested arbitrarily on Wednesday, 02/09/2015, and taken to an unknown to any of his family or his lawyer and his whereabouts remain unknown until this moment, which is a violation of what came in the second paragraph of Article I of the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearances that ” it may not be invoked in exceptional circumstances whatsoever, whether a state of war or a threat of war, internal political instability or any other public emergency exception, to justify enforced disappearances’.

We also condemn at the “freedom seekers monitor” the continued intransigence of the security forces in disclosing the student detention place until this moment the students, raising doubts about the possibility of being tortured to force him to confess to certain charges he did not commit, as we hold the security authorities responsible for the safety and security of the student.
