One hundred days have passed since the detention of the student Israa Eltawil, who is enrolled in
the second stage of faculty of Arts, Cairo University. The student and two of her colleagues were
arbitirarily arrested on 1-6-2015 from the area of ElM’aadi shore; to be led to an unknown place
without a declaration of the persecution or a caused judicial order. Israa and her two colleagues were
forcibly hidden for more than two weeks, until they appeared at the supreme persecution of the
National Security Forces on Wednesday, 15-6-2015. It worth to mention that there was no reasonable
justification for the student’s detention, not only, but the persecution renewed her imprisonment for
another fifteen days under investigations without any attributed charges. The persecution renewd her
imprisonment for 6 times until the last time on 26-8-2015.
It was mentioned that the student is disabled and cannot walk alone and that she was receieving an
intensive treatment lasted for a year and a half, in order to be able to walk. Her case now is
dsteriorating day after day under the bad circumstances of detention and the medical neglection. Click

What the student experienced came as a violation of the the current constitution, especially what
was stated in the subject number 54 that “Freedom is a personal right, it is preserved cannot be
touched. Unless, under the case of flagrante: no one should be arrested, inspected, restricted or
deprived of his liberty, only after a caused judicial order, which requires investigations. It also stated
that the medical carse must be provided for the disabled.
We Freedom Seekers Monitor, in our turn, condem these violation and we call the security forces
and the entrusted human rights foundations and tge current authorities for the necessity of being
committed to rules and introducing all the responsibles for these violations to justice. We put the
responsibility for the student’s safety and security in tge hands of the current system calling them for
releasing the student fast.
