The military court decided on Monday, 14-9-2015, to delay the trial of the student Mostafa Shaaban,
who is enrolled in faculty of Arts, Demanhor University, until 1-10-2015 with the charge of planting
explosive devices. It was mentioned that the student was arbitrarily arrested on 17-7-2015, while he
was going to play football, security forces blindfolded him and led him to Kafe Eldawar police station,
where he was put under the temporary investigations until his first trial which was on last Monday.
The student’s detention came as a violation of the subject number 54 of the current constitution,
which states that “Freedom is a personal right. It is preserved, cannot be touched. Unless, under the
case of flagrante; no one should be arrested, detained, or deprived of his liberty without a caused
judicial order.”
