Since his arrest arbitrarily without a court order in late January, “Marwan Sidqi” a student at the faculty of Engineering, A’in Shams University exposed to the crime of enforced disappearance by the Egyptian security forces, which has took him after his arrest to an unknown destination, where the student’s family heard about his presence at the police station, “Abu Nomros” and being exposed to systematic torture, but the police station denied the student detained, his family has not been able to identify the whereabouts or fate for more than three weeks and up to this minute.
It is noteworthy that what is done against students from arbitrary arrest without a warrant, and then exposing them for the crimes of enforced disappearance and torture to prison terms, all this is a clear violation of Article No. (54) of the current Egyptian constitution, which criminalized the first arrest of any person without permit or injunction reasoned, as necessitated that brought before the investigation authority within twenty four (24) hours as of the time of restricting his/her freedom.’ which is what the policy security services under the current system of Egypt violated and not be bound by it.
