Security services of the Egyptian authorities still continue to hide the place of detention, “Ibrahim Amer Shehata” third year student,History department , Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, who was kidnapped by the security forces for nearly seven months on Wednesday 07/22/2015 from one of the Metro stations and then he was taken to an unknown destination to any of his family or a lawyer, where they continue to detained the student illegally and without being presented to any competent Investigation body until this moment.
It is noteworthy that what is done against the student is a violation of articles No. (54) of the Egyptian Constitution, which reported the criminalizes of sentimental to the arrest of any person arbitrarily without a reasoned judicial order,and the article No.(9) of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and emphasized the inadmissibility of arbitrary arrest or detention of any person without legal permission to do so,also it confirmed that the enforced disappearance is a crime that required brought the perpetrator to justic.
For our part, we are all on “Freedom students Observator,emphasize the full condemnation for all what done by security services of the Egyptian authorities of repressive practices as well as being illegal the right of the student, as we reiterate our call for the authorities concerned to quickly reveal where student capture and brought before the investigation authority, also call immediate release unless evidence proves that he committed reprehensible, and we hold the Egyptian authorities have full responsibility for his personal safety
