It was one of Detainees of the prison had sent a message from his cell to mention that “Shebin Elkom prison administration” practiced against the detainees physical torture processes, beating, electric shocks, as well as forms of psychological abuse and practices contrary to the dignity of detainees, where the letter stated that a number of prison officers who forced the detainees to strip naked and confiscation their clothes despite of the adverse weather conditions and low temperature, as well as the detainees are being forced daily to kneel in front of the officers who put their feet on their necks with their boots,As well as insulting the detainees by verbally abusive, and the prison administration practiced systematic harassments against the detainees, from the seizure of their all belongings from the clothes, money and food, etc.,and transfer number of them to the cells without toilets, and in addition to that, the prison administration cracking down on the families of the detainees and humiliated them during the visits, especially during the inspection process.
