Egyptian security forces continue to enforced disappearance of “Abdulrahman Ashraf Ghazi Mosaad Qirdash” fourth year student at the Faculty of Commerce, Tanta University, since the eighth of March, following a decision by the public prosecutor ordered his release on the first of March.
In his testimony to the organization, the father of the student, said that his son disappeared on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 since after being taken to the headquarters of the third station in El-mahala, in preparation for his release following a decision of this on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, as the father of the student said that after they pay the bail and end procedures they surprised by the disappearance of a student and when they asked about at Tanta prison, a trustee of the police told them that he was taken by the security personnel to an unknown destination.
The father of a student added that they had send telegraphs about the disappearance of their son, but they were ignored by the relevant authorities, who also not say where the student was detained until this moment.
Stating that the student was arrested on Tuesday, March 10 2015 from his work at a restaurant in Tanta, and subjected to enforced disappearance for 4 consecutive days, where the first appearance on Saturday, March 14, 2015 to be viewed on the prosecution of El-Mahala, which remanded him in custody pending investigations as attributed to him of belonging to a banned group based on the odds of law, and to demonstrate without a permit, and then continued custody of the student until the decision was made to release him after nearly six months after his arrest, but before the implementation of the resolution the student was inclusion in the new issue of accusing burning electricity kiosks, and then was referred to the military prosecutor on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, but the military prosecutor stepped down from the case was returned to the civil courts, and then the public prosecutor ordered on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 release of student pending case and financial bail of 5,000 pounds, but that the security agencies ignored the resolution and snatched the student to an unknown destination for nearly 5 days and up to the minute.
