” None is supposed to be tortured, punished, maltreated or exposed to brutal or humiliating treatment”, some of the statement of item 5 in the Universal declaration of human rights which is violated every way and every day by the current regime in Egypt. As a continuity to these violations, we received news about torturing Ahmad Shaaban El Mowafy, the student in the faculty of Law, Mansoura University. The news say that student is arrested in one of the punitive cells for a week now without caring for any of his rights as a prisoner.
The student was arrested and disappeared on 17/11/2015 from one of the streets in Mahala.
In the observatory, we condemn such practices against the student and we bear the regime, the responsibility of the student’s life and safety.
