Sohag Criminal Court ruled on Sunday 7-6-2015 to prison sentences amounted to a total of seventy-three-year-old for eight students, in the case known as ” the Constitution events – Zahraa events in Sohag”, their names and their data as follows:
* Prison sentences issued against them for ten years:
1. “Mahmoud Jamal”2nd year student at the Faculty of Commerce, University of Assiut, and the detainee on 01/14/2014.
2. “Zahir Mahmoud Salim” first year student at the Faculty of Education – Assiut University and detained on 01.14.2014.
3. “Kareem Abu Zeid” Graduate Faculty of Industrial Education – Assiut University student arrested on 01.14.2014.
4. “Mohamed Alaa” first year student at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Assiut and detained on 04.14.2015.
5. “Tariq Walid Omar” 4th year student at developed secondary trade school in Sohag and detained on 10.12.2014.
6. “Momen Abou El Fadl,” second year student, Faculty of Law, University of Assiut and detained on 02.07.2014.
7. “Ahmed Mohamed Ezz” second year student at the Institute of technical and commercial detainee on 01/12/2014.

* Outgoing sentenced to imprisonment for a term of three years:
8. ”Ahmed Tharwat El-sayed ” 3rd year secondary student , and the detainee on 29/08/2014.
It is noteworthy that the security forces had arrested each student individually arbitrarily contrary to law, where he was presented before the public prosecution who accused him of several charges, notably: possession of a weapon without a license, premeditated murder of six people,  in the case known in the media as “the issue of the Constitution – events Zahra in Sohag, “.
