- The detainees “Ahmed Mahmoud Ahmed Gad” Sallab engineering graduate, and “Fathi Azmi Hamed Elqasaby ” student at the Faculty of Sharia and Law – Al-Azhar University Tafahna branch decided to start a hunger strike, after sending a letter informing so on Sunday, 10-08-2015 after repeated they were tortured on Monday 08/03/2015, by a police officer and a tea maker.

Recalling that the student” Fathi Azmi” has been arrested arbitrarily against the law on 01-12-2014, where he was subjected to a series of violations from the moment of his arrest, most notably his torture following his deportation on Sunday evening 06.21.2015 to the headquarters of police station “Meet Salsil “, where the student was stripped naked from his cloth along with 14 other detainees and sprayed with water, and after that officers and trustees assaulted them by beating them withelectric cables and plastic hoses, resulting in serious injuries to detainees, including the student.
