Zagazig felonies court sentenced Moaz Adel Mansour, the student in the fourth year, faculty of commerce, Benha University, to 3 years of aggravating prison because of the accusations, he was accused of in case number 467 for 2014 that included publishing the names of officers in the police and military on social media websites.

Student was arrested in the beginning of February for 2014 when he was taken to Security campus in Zagazig then to the public prison of Zagazig where he is right now. Arresting the student is absolutely violating article 54 of the current Egyptian constitution that stated that ” Personal freedom is a natural right, shall be protected and may not be infringed upon. Except for
the case of being caught in flagrante delicto, it is not permissible to arrest, search, detain, or
restrict the freedom of anyone in any way except by virtue of a reasoned judicial order that was
required in the context of an investigation”.
