Continuation of a series of military trials for the students the Military Court decided to imprison both: “Abdul Rahman Fawzi Al-Sharif,” law student, and “Osama Gamal al-Ghazali,” a student at the Faculty of Arts, University of Menoufia, for a period of three years, after being accused of blowing up two electricity towers and sabotage of public facilities and belonging to a banned group and demonstrations without a permit.

It is noteworthy that “Osama al-Ghazali,” was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 5 years by a court in the Haikstip on Tuesday 14/4/2015 on charges of blowing up the high pressure tower, before being arrested arbitrarily on Wednesday, 15/04/2015 in front of the college complex in Shebin El Kom, to be taken to an undisclosed location, where the students stayed under enforced disappearances whicg=h lasted about ten days, until noon Procuratorate in Shebin court ,decided to refer the student to the military prosecutor in Nasr City.

While the security forces arrested “Abdel-Rahman Fawzi” arbitrarily, on Friday, 05/29/2015, where he accused by the Public Prosecution of several charges including: demonstrating without a permit and belonging to an outlawed group, which is contrary to the provisions of Article IX of the Universal Declaration of Rights and Freedoms, which states that “no person may be arrested any person, detention or exile arbitrarily”.
