- The military prosecutor decided to renew the imprisonment of student “Omar Tariq” first year student at the Faculty of Languages and Translation – city of culture and science for 15 days pending investigations, The State Security on behalf of New Cairo had ruled on Thursday, 17.09.2015 to forward the proposal to the military trial , before it is submitted and renewal to him, by the charges against him in the case No. 1949 to 2015, and accused in it of Burning pyramid Neighborhood presidency.

Recalling that the student was arrested arbitrarily against the law on Wednesday 01/28/2015, to be held in the  Administrative Annex military prison camp in the central security in Kilo 10.5 , and his arrested came as a clear violation to the provisions of the charters of international human rights and materials current constitution.

Moreover, the Student arbitrary arrest came contrary to article 54 which states: ” Personal freedom is a natural right, shall be protected and may not be infringed upon. Except for the case of being caught in flagrante delicto, it is not permissible to arrest, search, detain, or restrict the freedom of anyone in any way except by virtue of a reasoned judicial order that was required in the context of an investigation, every person whose freedom is restricted shall be immediately notified of the reasons therefore; shall be informed of his/her rights in writing; shall be immediately enabled to contact his/her relatives and lawyer; and shall be brought before the investigation authority within twenty four (24) hours as of the time of restricting his/her freedom.’
