After the cessation of the military’s sentence to “Israa Maher” a student at the Faculty of Science at the University of Mansoura, to sentence her to two years with a fine of 50 thousand pounds, decided on Tuesday, 4/14/2015 her release from prosecutors Palace on bail of $ 15 thousand pounds.
Stating that she has been arrested arbitrarily contrary to the law, on Tuesday, 10/28/2014, in front of the Faculty of Science, Mansoura University, following the storming of the security forces of the campus, to escorte her then to the headquarters of the first Mansoura police station, where she then were presented before a Public Prosecution who accused her of several charges, notably: Protesting without a permit, possession of fireworks, and the involvement in riot, in Case No. 14713 of 2014, and then the public prosecutor’s decided to arrest her on pending investigations.
Moreover, the student was then deported to Monia El-naser prison, until she was referred to the military court on the first of January this year, after holding several meetings of military trials for the student court ruled on Thursday 19 \ 3 \ 2015 to detain her for two years and a fine of 50 thousand pounds, to be then transferred over to Damanhur Prison to spend her term, then a decision was made to suspend her sentence to be released today.
