“Abdulhadi Alawadla”, “Yasser Zaini,” and “Ahmed Gad”, students at the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University decided to enter into a full hunger strike and visit to protest the arrest of the mother of their colleague during her visit to him, and the deterioration of her health as a result of degrading conditions in the detention and which led to her transfer to the hospital.
The security forces in talkha police station have arrested the parents of the three students as well as the sister of one of them, on Sunday 08/30/2015, before they evacuate all except for the mother of the student, “Ahmed Gad,” which continues detention until this moment.
It is worth mentioning that the students had been detained arbitrarily contrary to the law on 07.31.2015 from a public street of city of Mansoura,they were also taken to an unknown location was not disclosed to any of their relatives or their lawyers, where this violation was in violation of Article I of the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearances that “it may not be invoked under any exceptional circumstances whatsoever, whether a state of war or a threat of war, internal political instability or any other public emergency exception, to justify enforced disappearances.
